A Visit to The Classic Car Boot Sale / by Tash South

King’s Cross is just a short tube journey from home, so thought I’d pop by to the The Classic Car Boot Sale.

And I’m so glad I did, the atmosphere was great, the cars were amazing and the wares were very interesting. And the crowd really do make an effort, dressed fabulously in their vintage attire, I felt like I’d taken a step back in time!

“The Classic Car Boot Sale showcases over 100 vintage vehicles and traders operating from the boot of their vintage vehicles. It is a veritable treasure trove for vintage shoppers, collectors, vinyl lovers and petrolheads alike! If Vintage-vulturing isn’t your thing then there is plenty of opportunities to dine, drink, dance and do including some of the finest mobile eateries serving street food, coffee, cocktails and craft beer from vintage vans, heritage fairground rides, roaming street theatre, a cornucopia of rare show cars and the Vintage Festival DJs playing a vinyl only selection of 40s to 80s tunes atop an open-air Routemaster.”

Have a look here if you are interested in other Vintage Festival events.

The Furniture

Bar made of cane anyone?

This intricate metal telephone table caught my eye.

I was very, very tempted by this gorgeous coffee table - if only I had the space!

This little set up transports you back in time! Great fabric on the chairs.
